Another old layout that I made available for free, with certain hover animations that I now despise but loved at the time - and I know other people liked as well, because somehow it was one of the layouts that I found more people using.
That said, one of the purposes of this blog is to show how my skills evolved, so I'm not shying away of displaying how I started. But looking at this, I also realize that, while my skills evolved, my creativity... not so much. Especially now that minimalism is so valued, I feel like there is less freedom for people to mess around. If some of the ideas I had for this layout were more polished or better executed, the result might have been better. That's one of the reasons why I applaud people who are still going strong with old blogs and continue creating "old-school" templates for their personal corner of the web.
