It's funny how I consider this layout so old and messy, yet it was already an attempt at improving one of my first layouts. I have to say I like the colors, and yes, I definitely was (and still am a fan of Zelda, though at the time I was carried away by the ship fanarts while now... Now I look at Breath of the Wild and consider it my comfort game.
That said, one of the purposes of this blog is to show how my skills evolved, so I'm not shying away of displaying how I started. But looking at this, I also realize that, while my skills evolved, my creativity... not so much. Especially now that minimalism is so valued, I feel like there is less freedom for people to mess around. If some of the ideas I had for this layout were more polished or better executed, the result might have been better. That's one of the reasons why I applaud people who are still going strong with old blogs and continue creating "old-school" templates for their personal corner of the web.
